Engr. Ali Bin Mubarak Al Matar

Mr. Ali Mubarak Al-MAtar, Chairman & founder of Al-Matar Group, is an outstanding business leader with vast and varied experience in different organization.

He earned his MSc in Civil Engineering from the Patrice Lumumba People’s Friendship University, Moscow in 1973.

Way back in 1970s, one of his passion was to set up a 100 per cent Omani Company in the field of water pipeline network. Ali Al-Matar began his entrepreneurial journey in 1976 with the establishment of a simple and small business under the name of Al Matar Trading & consultants, which grew in to two separate firms : Al Matar Trading & Contracting ( AMTC ) and Al-Matar Architect ( AMA ) in 1983.

Thanks to his leadership and hard work the business gradually grew in to Al Matar Group, which consist of four companies, namely Al Matar trading & contracting LLC, Al Matar Architectural Design & Consulting Engineering, Red Line Trading & Engineering Services and Pearl Electro Mechanical Company L.L.C.

An outstanding business leader, Ali Al-Matar has nurtured the growth of his family business in a way that today its contribution to the country’s development and diversification programme cannot be denied.

What is more, under his guidance his children are growing up as genuine business leaders and active members of Family business.

Engr. Hussain Ali Al Matar, Project Control Director

Earned his BS honors and BSc in Civil Engineering from Ohio University of the US and has 18 Years of experience in Project Management.

Engr. Abeer Ali Al Matar, Administration & Follow-up Director

Earned his BS degree from Caledonian College with honors in Computer Engineering and also earned honors Master in Business Administration from the Hull University. She has 14 years of experience in Management.

Engr. Sultan Ali Al Matar, Deputy C E O 

Earned his BS honors in Telecommunication Engineering and 11 years experience in Project Management.

Engr. Adil Ali Al Matar, Plant & Machinery Director

Earned his BS honors in Engineering Management and 16 years experience in Procurement and heavy equipment management.
