Since inception in 1976, Al Matar Trading & Contracting LLC has been an important player in the construction of water pipeline networks. Established by an Omani Civil Engineer, Ali Bin Mubarak Al Matar, it has earned much respect, recognition and reputation in the market. Following successful execution of many projects, Al-Matar Group has been classified as an “Excellent Grade” company with the Tender Board for pipeline water network and as the highest “CP” grade by the Public Authority of Electricity & Water and have ISO 9001:2008 certification. The scope of construction is for all works related to the Water Transmission and distributions networks including Bore Wells, pump Stations, Storage Ground Reservoirs, Elevated tanks, Desalination Plants, House Service Connections, Chlorination System, Service Manholes, Chambers for Gate Valves, Air Valves, Wash Outs, Metering Chambers, Inline Booster Pumps, Road crossings and all associated works, either by Engineering Procurement & Construction ( EPC ) Contract or by Supply and Installation, Electro Mechanical works such as Pumps, Surge Vessels, Control Panels and SCADA and Instrumentation works are invariably associated with all the above works.

Water Pipe Line Networks consisting of Transmission Pipe line from Bore Well Pumps or from Pump Stations to the storage reservoirs / Tanks from Ductile Iron or MS Pipe works. Dia Meters pipes ranging from 100mm to 1200mm on our past records. Distribution Pipeline are for the purpose of distributing to the public utility through Ductile Iron, HDPE, Asbestos Cement ( previous to 2000 ), and GI or UPVC pipes. The diameters of pipelines are normally up to 600mm for Ductile iron pipes & Asbestos cement ( Prior to year 2000 ), HDPE pipes up to 355mm of class up to 16bars and for House Service Connections from GI, HDPE, MDPE & UPVC pipes up to 160mm dia. GRP pipes are used for certain areas of brackish water transmission for the Desalination Projects from Digging bore wells as per the approved locations, installing bore well pumps & well head transmission pipe lines to Raw/ Feed water tanks, then Raw/Feed water pumps pumping Raw/Feed water in to RO system having dual media filters, cartridge filters and RD Membrane. The desalination water is pumped to storage reservoirs which is again pumped in to Elevated Tank for serving the distribution Networks including House Service Connection.
