About Al Matar Architectural Design & Consulting Engineering is one of the Premier companies in Oman, Established by the ambitious Civil Engineer in 1979 for serving both in the private and public market sector. It is totally owned by an Omani Civil Engineer Mr. Ali bin Mubarak Al-Matar, the Chairman.

Designing
Designing of all Civil Engineering Structures and Building related to various Projects of various Ministries and Organizations right from the Soil investigations, various types of suitable Foundations as per the Soil conditions, structural loads and moving loads and all the Superstructures, finishes and fixtures related to Civil and Electro Mechanical items, necessary infrastructures and Landscaping.
Based on the above the following are prepared for floating the Tenders,
- Preparation of all Architectural, Structural Drawings and the drawings for all services
- Assessing the Quantities of all items of works and materials involved on the Project
- Preparation of Material and work specifications for the entire scope of works
- Tender evaluations, Preparation of Tender evaluation reports for finalizing the Tender
- Supervision of all Awarded Works
Planning
Planning involves the works related to preparation of Cost Estimate of the Project, assessing the realistic contract period, qualification requirements for the Tenderer, instruction to the Tenderer, Supervisory Staff all equipments / instruments required for the Project.
Supervision
Supervision of awarded Project designed by Al Matar or by the other Agencies as per the discretion of the Client for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Land Instrumentation works with the Qualified Engineer and Supporting Staff.
Quality Control
Quality Control is the Sole aim of Supervision and as part of Design. All materials and workmanship are to be in accordance with the relevant codes, standards and specifications, Necessary Test Certificate, Third party inspection. Certificates, Field Tests and periodical tests for materials and works are to be conducted as per the requirements/standards.
